At Body Fit Physiotherapy, we have a particular interest in cardiac rehabilitation and preventative programs. We’ve worked extensively with the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital to optimise our programs for the management of cardiac conditions in the community.
What is Cardiac Rehabilitation?
Cardiac rehabilitation is a tailored program designed to improve heart health and recovery after a heart event, such as a heart attack or surgery. It combines exercise, education, and lifestyle changes to help our clients regain strength and reduce the risk of future heart problems.
What are the benefits of cardiac rehabilitation?
Cardiac rehabilitation offers significant benefits, including improved heart function, increased physical fitness, and reduced symptoms of heart disease. It also helps lower the risk of future heart events and enhances overall quality of life through targeted exercise and lifestyle guidance.
